Tech Layoff Tracker
Real-time data on tech industry job cuts
What does "AI-attributed" mean?
We mark layoffs as AI-attributed when company leadership, internal memos, or credible sources explicitly cite AI tools, automation, or "productivity gains from AI" as a factor in the reduction. This doesn't mean AI was the only cause — but it was publicly acknowledged as part of the decision.

Our Methodology
We track tech layoffs from SEC filings, company announcements, credible news sources, and verified internal documents. We include layoffs from technology companies and tech departments within non-tech companies.
AI attribution is only applied when there's explicit evidence that AI/automation was cited as a factor. We err on the side of caution — if a company doesn't mention AI, we don't assume it.
